When my cousin Nick came to me asking if I would photograph his and Patricia's wedding I was so on it! A family wedding just like the good old times of my younger years! It was an amazing time and brought back so many memories being around family and friends. Patricia - welcome to the family!

Modesto Wedding | Nick & Patricia
Being Portuguese I can attest to huge, frequent family weddings! When I was between the ages of 10-12 I could have sworn we had a wedding every two months or so - no kidding. Why didn't I shoot weddings then? It was like a wedding boom between those years! Sadly, once all my second cousins were married the wedding goodness all dried up.

Mira Bridal Couture Unveiled / Couture Wedding Gowns
This will be a quick post. I just wanted to say thank you to Mira from Mira Bridal Couture for sending me a press pass to her Mira Bridal Couture "Unveiled" event. I was able to meet some great photographers and connect with some amazing models who were in the show. The show was fantastic and I cannot wait for next year! All the wedding gowns were beautiful! Great job to everyone who brought it all together!

Lifestyle Photography: Karrisa & Callie
I had the opportunity to work with two amazing models who are best friends. They totally made this shoot and produced some killer images. The afternoon went so smooth and we all had an awesome time. You girls did such a great job and work so well together and individually! I am looking forward to working together again!
I also want to give a MAJOR SHOUT OUT to my buddy Jonathan Rios from Zomeck Studios. He came along and shot some video which I am so stoked to share. All I can say is everyone involved blew me away and you are all great!

Limb Saver Photography / Jennifer & Steve
I need to first throw out a big THANK YOU to Jackie from Jacqueline Photography. Jackie is a great photographer so you need to check her out! She referred this amazing job to me and I was able to meet a GREAT couple.
Steve owns a construction company but is also a professional bow hunter. When I got the call from them to do a shoot for LimbSaver magazine in which they were being featured I was beyond stoked. Steve & Jennifer are such a great couple - their vibe is energizing and we had a great time shooting. It didn't hurt that Jennifer use to be a model! I have no doubt Steve is going straight to the top with his passion and I am really looking forward to Jennifer's new line of fashionable hunting wear that she kept saying she wanted to produce! ("Jen, you don't wear UGG boots hunting.." - Steve) Not only are they being featured in LimbSaver, but they are in the talks of being hosts for a show on the Outdoor Channel - such an amazing opportunity! Look for these two on TV soon!

Sunset State Beach
Ah, a very fun time camping with friends in Santa Cruz! This is my second time this month staying near SC. Just 2 weeks ago I got back from Aptos at an AMAZING beach house on the water with my fiancee and her family. I have really been super blessed. Camping with friends was no exception. I was only able to stay overnight and had to leave early in the morning so Val and I were dying to just run down to the beach. We stopped on our way home and I took a couple shots by the water. Looking forward to doing it again next summer!

Monterey Bay Engagement Photography
I was doing a little looking around and wanted to do a quick look back at the beginning of the year when I did a shoot with my long time friends Amber and Brent. Valerie (my amazing fiancee and assistant) and I had such a great time hanging around in Monterey and being able to do this shoot with them! Did I mention they were two naturals in front of the camera? Absolutely rocked this shoot!
Many of you have, but here is the slideshow for those of you who may have never seen it:

Santa Cruz
Just got done with a great shoot yesterday in Santa Cruz at the Boardwalk. My buddy, Scot, and I have been meaning to get out and shoot with each other and finally were able to. The conditions were killer with just a slight overcast with occasional sun. We caught some rain driving through the bay area so on our way up we were a little worried but super stoked to see Santa Cruz was beautiful. Such a great day of shooting.
You models did great managing the cold, the wind and that sand blowing all over!
